Easter Tree Decorations With Flowers
Hellooooo! How are you all? Keeping well I hope! For my March project, I have created these gorgeous, handmade felt decorations using Eileen Hull's Painterly Blooms die set 666689. I love these cute flowers that Eileen has designed! I started off by cutting out the base for my Easter eggs. This is also a die by sizzix called Decorative Eggs 665075. This one is one of my favourite Easter die sets, the patterns are gorgeous. I then cut out a whole load of leaves and flowers in felt, ready to sew onto each egg (3 eggs are going to be made in total) I started sewing on the leaves first using silk threads... The flowers were then arranged and sewn on. I added a sequin to the centre of each flower just to add that bit of sparkle when the light shines on them, when they are hung on the Easter tree!
