Tunnel Storybook

Happy September all!

Another month and another AWESOME release!

I couldn’t resist creating this beautiful, Winter-themed storybook using a tunnel design!

I used matboard for the base of the book, including the pages. I used the new arch die on each page. Once I cut the arches, I then embossed all the pages including the covers, so that they all match!

I then used watercolour, pearly paints on all the pages to give it that pop and winters feel! I used a distress ink around the top edges of the book, where they blue section of watercolour is, just to give it some extra texture!

I cut out all the winter scene components. These were then placed and organised until I was happy with the layout.

I wanted the tunnel book to be more than just a visual book, so I created a little story to make the book even more appealing, especially for children!

I added distress in on the last page to bring out the pattern of the gorgeous emboss!
I am really pleased with how the tunnel book has turned out, first time making one and it was super fun to make! I finished the book detail off with some Sizzix Effectz Liquid Gloss, which I used on the trees and as snow falling!

I hope I have inspired you to create something similar. Children/grandchildren will love to create these!

Feel free to post your makes in the Eileen Hull Fan Club so we can all see what you have made!
