Artist-Themed Phone Stand

 Welcome and Happy Summer!

I hope that you are all keeping well and busy crafting away!

This month’s theme is ‘Mix & Match’. I decided to create a phone stand for my craft table, using Eileen’s Gift Box Die With Scalloped Edges 664345. I combined this with the latest Rainbow Wheels Set 666880 by Eileen Hull.

A good friend of my mums had some gorgeous watercolour-themed card that she no longer wanted, so I took advantage of this to use on this art-themed project!

🌈 Step-By-Step Instructions 🌈

Step 1: I die cut all the components, using matboard…

Step 2: I folded part of ‘the box’ into a triangle, hot glued it to create a stand. Then I folded I flap of the next part and formed the phone stand. This was then glued to the stand base and scalloped edges (x 2) were added onto the flap to create a ‘prop’ to keep the phone in an upright position.

Step 3: I then added the gorgeous watercolour paper to the stand…

Step 4: I cut out part of the colour wheel and adhered to the base of the stand, how cute does it look!

Step 5: I then cut out 2 more colour wheels, this time leaving the whole wheels in tact, and gluing them to a white circle using thick card. They are so pretty how the colours blend into each other!

Step 6: Paint brushes were stamped out and coloured, and then a little banner was added with this fabulous  ‘art therapy in progress’ sentiment!

Step 7: And, then it was finished off with a cute bow!

Step 8: One of the colour wheels was added to the reverse of the stand….

My design is now complete!
