 Hello, welcome back to my blog and this AMAZING new release! 

This is certainly one of my favourite releases by far!!!

The dies\stamps used in this project are;

-Rainbow Wheels 666880

-Swatch Card Stamps 666881

-Handbound Journal Die 666882

Step 1: I cut out the book overs and spine with matboard and then also cut out the cork (Sizzix Cork Roll 663892) I glued the cork to the inside and outside covers of the journal and let it dry.

Step 2: I had fun cutting out the colour wheel and the coloured components for it! 🌈 I glued all the bits into place! 

How gorgeous is the wheel now it is all assembled?!….

Step 3: I used hot glue to secure the cover and spine together…

Step 4: I added the colour wheel and the banner to the front of the journal…

Step 5: I then used my favourite quote to the banner!

Step 6: I added a pink bow to finish the cover…

Step 7: I made some book inserts x 3 (and of course I carried on the cork theme throughout the journal! I added a pink bow to each of the 3 books…

The Art Journal is now complete!

Have you seen this additional project I have created?! This time it is a greetings card! The background to this card was created using a tea bag (tea bag staining). I then used a Jim Holtz ‘Vintage Photo’ ink pad and Eileen’s stamps to create texture on top of the background. Then I added swatch card, colour wheel and of course some paintbrushes and colour blocks!
