Pouring Some Love
Welcome back to my blog!
Hope you are all keeping well and happily crafting away in your amazing craft rooms!
Today, I am sharing with you this floral Valentine's Day card. I have included a step-by-step tutorial below.
Step 1: I used the Market and 49 papers for the background of this large (A5) greetings card...
Step 2: I then die cut some mat board and thick, textured white card using the Teacup die (664797). Once these were both cut out, I embossed the white card using Eileen's latest embossing folder (666765)...
Step 3: I adhered to the background and I cut a teapot spout out and added this to the top corner...
Step 4: I die cut 3 x 'Love' words from Eileen's set of 5 Journaling Words set ready to stick on the card...
Step 5: I glued the 'Love' words in place. I wanted them coming from the spout and to look as if they are falling in the cup...
Step 6: I then used the Sizzix Liquid Gloss (666166) to create water droplet marks. I absolutely love this gloss and use it in a lot of my projects. It's definitely one to have in your craft stash!

Step 7: I made the tea bag slightly smaller for my card design and also added some white twine...

Step 8: Using the cluster wax, I coated and rubbed in the wax to both the cup and the teapot spout, just to give it that gorgeous shine!

Step 9: Finally I added some flowers to my tea cup to finish the design. I added the tea bag and the spoon that I cut out using the Market and 49 papers...
