A special 40th friendship card

 

Happy New Year to you all!

I hope that you had a good Christmas 🎄.  We had a lovely, quiet Christmas spent with family. 

So, another year of creative happiness lies ahead! 

A lot of my friends turn 40 this year (me included at the end of this month). With the theme for this month being 'Friendship', I thought i would create this floral card for my close friend whom I have know for 40 years! 

I started off by adding this gorgeous, floral card to the background. 

I added a Friendship quote to start with...

I then added a Happy birthday sentiment. I die cut a circle tag using Eileen Hull's Everyday Tags and Labels 666533. This is going to be the base for the wreath I am going to add. 

I have used the Wreath and Snowflake 665326 as a border for the '40' numbers I will be adding. I cut out the wreath using the same cardstock as the base design.

I added the numbers and of course a little bow to complete the design.
